I am aware that I won't be downloading all the time. My stored data will probably increase quite quickly from now. The storage costs for these aren't a concern right now, but the costs to download that content again once it's stored seems disproportionately high. I am however looking to start backing up my entire video library, as well as some installers for large games. To store my 300GB in B2 seems like it will cost me only around £1.00 per month, if that, which I'm really happy about. Google Drive has a similar storage tier also. ![]() I currently pay £6.99 a month for 2TB of iCloud storage, most of which I don't use. Luckily I was able to recover seemingly all of it from the Recently Deleted on my iPad, but that put enough fear in me to find a better solution, and this isn't the first time this has happened. I have about 300GB of data stored in iCloud which I have just painstakingly moved over to Backblaze as I found almost all of it had been deleted unprompted yesterday. I have some concerns about the way I might use B2 and its cost-effectiveness though and would like some community input especially as I'm not used to data charged on a pay-what-you-use model.
